WALDHAFF. EATING OUT IN THE WILD.
La Sauvageonne in Waldhaff is as wild as its name - at least regarding the location of this charming lunch and dinner destination. In the middle of the forrest, surrounded by nothing but trees and greens (ok, and a main road nearby that one doesn't really hear), this place is closer to nature as most other ones in Luxembourg. Inside, plenty of plants, wooden furniture, lamps made of wicker, patterned cushion covers, vintage leather couches and Kelim carpets successfully help to extend the wild and pristine beauty of nature into the interior. On the menu you'll find classics like Bouche à la Reine, Steak Tartare the Boeuf and Teriyaki de Thon but also specials such as dishes with truffles or mushrooms depending on the season. On warm and sunny days the tables outside, placed under trees and on the natural terrace, are very popular. Reservations are highly recommended.
