COCOTTES COQUETTES. FRESH and FABULOUS.
Since Luxembourg is a very relaxed city, you don't find a lot of fast food. And if so, it's (ok, besides a few big fast food chains that we all cannot run away from anywhere in the world), quite often more slow food and more and more home made. A very good example for those places is Cocottes (the French word for the sound you make to call for chicken). Creative recipes for lunch dishes or snacks to either eat there or to take away to the office or home. Freshly made and nicely presented it's true beauty food. Big summer salads with salmon and pomegranate, small pots of steamed veggies with tofu and sesame, sandwiches with minced beef and cranberries, delicious quiches, veggie cakes, fresh juices and a lot more is offered either to order for catering or to take away from their store in the center (3, Rue Beaumont) or eaten "sur place" at either the outlet at Glacis (5, Rue Jean l'Aveugle) or Gare (6, Rue de Bonnevoie). A beautiful thing:
